A master’s position in the Fish Macroecology Research Group, beginning in the fall of 2026, is now accepting applications. The team looks into how the ecology of fish species with economic value is affected by climate change in an effort to inform wise management and policy choices. The chosen student will use sophisticated statistical tools to examine changes in fish development, population dynamics, and distribution by analyzing data from fisheries surveys and oceanographic models. Eligibility Criteria :
- A bachelor’s degree in biology, ecology, fisheries science, marine science, or a similar discipline

Preferred Requirements:
- Previous background in statistics, data science, or quantitative ecology
- Knowledge of R programming
- Experience conducting research in the natural sciences
- Proficiency in scientific writing and reporting
