Would you like to go to a five-day summit in Cape Town that is totally funded? All nationalities are welcome to apply for this wonderful opportunity, and there is no application fee. The One Young World AstraZeneca Scholarship 2026, offered in collaboration with AstraZeneca, is now accepting applications. Through the Young Health Programme (YHP) Impact Fellowship, the program aims to find and assist young leaders with a strong sense of purpose.
Participants will have the chance to interact with powerful leaders, experts, and politicians, attend the global summit, and connect with like-minded changemakers worldwide. The fellowship’s main goals are to enable young people to take significant steps toward improving health inequalities, addressing environmental and climate-related issues, and creating more robust and resilient health systems.
Through this experience, fellows will develop their leadership abilities, broaden their global network, and contribute to significant solutions that support the third Sustainable Development Goal of the UN, which is to guarantee healthy lives and promote well-being for people of all ages.

Program Focus
- Promote health equity by assisting young individuals with uncommon illnesses or concentrating on the early prevention of non-communicable diseases in young people.
- Act on climate change and the environment by promoting measures to lessen the negative impacts of climate change on youth health and well-being.
- Increase the resilience of health systems by helping them prioritize early interventions to meet present needs and lessen the burden of disease in the future.
Eligibility Criteria:
- At the time of application, candidates must be between the ages of 18 and 30.
- Strong English language competence is required, including speaking, reading, and writing abilities.
- All nationals are welcome, and there are no citizenship limits.
- must be able to physically attend and take part in the One Young World Summit in 2026.
- The summit will be held in Cape Town from November 2–7, 2026.
