International students are encouraged to apply for a fully funded graduate research assistantship at North Carolina State University in the United States. Selected students can pursue a PhD while making contributions to cutting-edge research thanks to this opportunity.
The research focuses on “Using eDNA and occupancy modeling to inform aquatic imperiled species recovery,” and it is overseen by management biologists, Drs. Corey Dunn and Nadya Mamoozadeh.
Participants will acquire useful, in-demand conservation skills, such as species management, occupancy modeling, habitat evaluation, laboratory development, and field application of eDNA surveillance techniques. This program provides a special combination of classroom instruction and hands-on environmental conservation research experience.
