International students can apply for fully financed Master’s and PhD programs at one of Canada’s best universities through the University of Alberta Graduate Scholarship. Full financing for living expenses and tuition will be provided to chosen applicants; this funding will be renewed yearly till the program is finished.
Graduate students (MSc or PhD) are being sought after to join the lab of Dr. Alexa Ferdinands, Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life, and Environmental Sciences. The study focuses on a community-based initiative that investigates food literacy among young people in Edmonton, looking at how they comprehend nutrition and health, make food decisions, and navigate food situations.
Students interested in community-based research experience, qualitative research techniques, and public health nutrition have a great chance with this award.
Eligibility Criteria :
- own a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant subject.
- strong interest in and/or familiarity with juvenile food literacy (business or research)
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work both individually and cooperatively
- Proficiency in both written and spoken communication
