The chosen fellows will work with the British Council on academic and cultural projects for 10 months in Edinburgh and two further months back home.

Eligibility Criteria:
- Candidates must be nationals of a nation that is qualified to receive Official Development Assistance (ODA).
- Candidates must have a PhD or comparable professional research expertise in their discipline.
- Prior to completing the fellowship application, the doctorate degree must be finished.
