The 2026 Abdulhadi H. Taher Endowment Scholarships for Saudi Arabian and Egyptian students are now accepting applications. For exceptional candidates, this opportunity provides full or partial tuition fee support.
Undergraduate (BS) degree programs are eligible for the scholarship, which is offered by The American University in Cairo. It seeks to assist Saudi Arabia’s and Egypt’s most talented students in their pursuit of higher education.
The American institution in Cairo is a private, English-language research institution in Egypt that provides undergraduate, graduate, and professional education in the American model. Students who participate in this program have access to excellent instruction and robust possibilities for academic growth.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Eligible Countries: Students from Saudi Arabia and Egypt may apply for the scholarship.
- Programs that qualify: The American University in Cairo offers undergraduate degrees in any field.
- Qualifications:
- must hold an equivalent qualification or be enrolled in Thanaweya Amma (AY 2025–2026).
- must receive a minimum of 94% in the arts section and 97% in the scientific section (or an equivalent marking scheme).
- must exhibit a definite financial necessity.
- Admission standards: Candidates must fulfill The American University in Cairo’s undergraduate admission standards.
- Language prerequisites:
- At least a 6 on the IELTS (including a 6 in writing), OR
- A minimum of 76 on the TOEFL iBT (with 20 in writing)
