British Council UK 90th Anniversary Fellowship 2027 | Fully Funded

The University of Edinburgh is currently accepting applications for the 2027 British Council UK 90th Anniversary Fellowship. International applicants from all over the world are welcome to apply for this fully supported 12-month fellowship.

Fellows will work with the British Council to spend two months in their home countries after spending the first ten months at the University of Edinburgh. The initiative will start in January 2027 as part of the British Council’s 90th anniversary celebrations.

It is a great chance for international professionals and researchers because there is no application fee and the British Council will cover all significant costs.

Eligibility Criteria :

  • Candidates must be citizens of a nation that qualifies.
  • At the time of application, candidates must have earned a doctorate.
  • Candidates should have a PhD or comparable research experience.
  • It is necessary to have a solid academic and scientific foundation.
  • Applicants must submit a proposal for an independent research study.
  • Throughout the fellowship program, applicants must to be permitted to remain in Edinburgh.
