The Tobe Maki Foundation Scholarship for the 2025–2027 academic year is now accepting applications. This prestigious scholarship is a non-repayable financial aid opportunity intended to assist domestic and foreign students enrolled in undergraduate or graduate programs at accredited Japanese universities. It is given out for two years and is intended to lessen the cost of tuition, particularly for those who are struggling financially.
The award is especially meant for students who perform exceptionally well academically, show a strong sense of motivation, and behave honorably throughout their studies. It is especially designed for students pursuing fields that support the foundation’s objective of encouraging creativity and innovation. These disciplines include business administration, chemistry, food science, design and art, and physical education.
The program is run by the Tobe Maki Foundation, an Osaka-based public interest incorporated foundation that has a long history of supporting up-and-coming talent. The foundation seeks to enable future leaders, scholars, and professionals who will make significant contributions to their areas and to society at large by offering financial aid to worthy students.
The foundation’s selection standards, which emphasize academic quality, personal character, study motivation, and financial need, must be met by eligible applicants. Recipients who are selected will get a scholarship that is non-repayable, freeing them from the burden of financial limitations to concentrate on their studies and personal growth.
