The Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme (MTCP) Scholarship 2026–2027 is now accepting applications. For international students from impoverished nations, this fully supported postgraduate fellowship offers the opportunity to study in a top-notch, diversified academic setting.
In order to foster international cooperation and disseminate Malaysia’s development experience, the government developed the Malaysian Technical Cooperation Programme in 1980. It has helped thousands of students pursue higher education in Malaysian institutions throughout the years.
The scholarship offers access to cutting-edge research facilities and contemporary learning tools for master’s degrees (24–36 months) in a variety of subjects. Through academic and community activities, it also enables students to have a taste of Malaysian culture.
Major costs are covered by this fully financed program in addition to a monthly stipend. Before submitting an application, candidates must be accepted into a Malaysian institution. Scholars are urged to return home and support national development after completing their education.
