The A*STAR Graduate Academy’s 2026 Singapore ACIS Scholarship is now accepting applications. Both domestic and foreign students who want to pursue a PhD in Computing and Information Science (CIS) fields in Singapore are supported by this fully financed opportunity.
A monthly living stipend, computer allowance, thesis and research support, and complete tuition are all covered by the scholarship. Additionally, it offers support for research or internships abroad for a maximum of 12 months.
In computing domains including deep learning, data analytics, machine learning, and advanced simulation, the ACIS Scholarship seeks to draw in and nurture exceptional talent. In addition to opportunities to work on real-world research challenges and up to four years of funding, scholars will study at independent universities in Singapore.
Eligibility Criteria :
- Candidates must be citizens of Singapore or foreigners of any nationality.
- Applicants must have earned a Bachelor’s (BSc) or Master’s (MSc) degree from an independent university, or be on route to do so.
- At least a 2nd Upper Class Honours or its equivalent in a relevant discipline must have been earned, or be anticipated to be earned.
- Undergraduate students in their last year are also eligible to apply, but they must fulfill the scholarship requirements.
- Candidates must meet the prerequisites for admission to a PhD program at a Singaporean autonomous university.
- Candidates should show a strong desire to pursue a career in computing and information science (CIS) research, whether it be in university, industry R&D, tech companies, or spin-offs.
