IACC Young Journalists Program 2026, Dominican Republic (Fully Funded)

Are you a future journalist who wants to experience reporting abroad? The IACC Young Journalists Program 2026 is now accepting applications. Ten young journalists from around the world will attend the International Anti-Corruption Conference (IACC) 2026 in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, from December 1–4, 2026, thanks to this fully financed initiative.

The program, which is run by Transparency International, gives participants the chance to cover one of the top anti-corruption conferences in the world. In addition to covering the event, chosen journalists will increase their understanding of corruption, transparency, governance, and public accountability, broaden their worldwide professional network, and obtain invaluable practical reporting experience.

Early-career journalists have a great chance to improve their reporting abilities and raise their profile internationally. Additional information is given below.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • All nations are welcome to submit an application.
  • must be employed as a journalist at the moment.
  • Reports on social, political, economic, or public interest topics should be prior experiences.
  • Applications are encouraged from journalists working in print, digital, radio, television, and multimedia.
  • must be younger than 35 on December 6, 2026.
  • should be fluent in English.
  • must exhibit a keen interest in accountability, openness, and anti-corruption journalism.

Program Responsibilities:

Selected participants will be required to:

  • Attend conference sessions, panel discussions, and workshops.
  • Conduct interviews with international leaders, experts, and anti-corruption advocates.
  • Produce and publish at least one report related to the conference.
  • Pitch their story to a recognized media organization following the program.
  • Comply with the program’s terms of reference and code of conduct throughout their participation.
